The Port of Manzanillo (MX) is located on Mexico’s Pacific coast in the state of Colima. The port is strategically located as the main entry point for trade between North America, Central America, South America, Asia, Oceania, and Europe.
As the largest port facility in Mexico, as well as in Latin America, the port of Manzanillo (MX) plays a vital role in international commerce and is key to the country’s participation in global supply chains. In terms of volume, Manzanillo handles 65% of Mexico’s west coast cargo, and 42% of the total volume in the country.
The types of cargo handled by the port include: general cargo, bulk cargo, containerized cargo (dry and reefer), and automotive.
