Steinweg Sharaf FZCO and Metal Park Sign Partnership Agreement for Warehousing and Logistics Management at KEZAD (Khalifa Economic Zone Abu Dhabi) Free Zone, Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Metal Park a prominent player in the metal industry in UAE has set up a facility spanning 147,000 sq.m. at KEZAD free zone, Abu Dhabi.  The facility can handle and store about 225,000 – 300,000 MT of Steel Products. Inn close proximity to the warehousing facility Metal Park has also set up a metal processing facility spread over 300,000 sq.m. for facilitating value addition activities such as processing, slitting, bending, cutting, galvanizing etc.  

Strategically located, the warehousing and logistics facility at KEZAD, offers seamless accessibility for Metal Industry participants. These state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest technologies and amenities, essential for boosting productivity and ensuring streamlined operations.

Metal like Steel coils, Billets, Plates, Cathodes etc is expected to be imported through the free zone facilities for storage, and onward deliveries to the local or overseas markets or for processing at the Metal park manufacturing/fabricating unit.

Steinweg Sharaf FZCO and Metal Park Investment LLC have entered into an Agreement wherein Steinweg Sharaf will manage the facility and provide Logistics services to the trade.  The Steel Yard is equipped with overhead cranes of upto 40 mt lifting capacity with the facility designed to provide free flow of vehicles and fast and efficient turnaround. The facility is expected to commence operations from August 2024.

Steinweg Sharaf entered into a strategic partnership with Metal park Investment LLC and signed the agreement during the “Make it in the Emirates” hosted by Ministry of Industry, Department of Economic development at Abu Dhabi on 28th May 2024.

Steinweg Sharaf begins an exciting new phase in its regional growth expansion phase with this new set up at Abu Dhabi.
