Vizag Port is strategically located midway between Chennai and Kolkata Ports and serves as a gateway to the hinterland on the East Coast of India. It is well connected with road and rail network connecting Southern Eastern India belts. Vizag Special Economic Zone (VSEZ) is in close proximity to both Vishakhapatnam and Gangavaram Ports which are at a distance of about 20 Km from VSEZ. Both ports handle bulk and containers vessels and is well connected with all major shipping lines.
