Steinweg is the first warehouse operator in Mundra Free Trade Warehousing Zone & in proximity to the sea-port and a port based FTWZ. The Mundra Port is located in the Northern Gulf of Kutch, en route major maritime routes and connected through rail, road, air & pipelines. This makes it a preferred gateway for cargo bound westwards. The port has been designed to handle all types of cargo viz. containers, dry bulk, break bulk, liquid cargo and automobiles. Steinweg has developed its facilities in Mundra – Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ), in the state of Gujarat on a land parcel 25 acres (101,000 Square meters). It includes 25,000 Square meters of covered warehouses and 46,000 square meters of paved open yard.

Cargo Handling

• range of commodities, especially Non-ferrous Metals, Ferro alloys, Polymers & Chemicals, Soft commodities, Steel products & other general products.
• reefer containers for storage of processed food and temperature sensitive products.

Facility

• own weighbridge of 100 & 5 MT capacity
• multiple loading & unloading bays makes managing the operations on wheel methods easier
• heavy equipment for handling of heavy cargo operations (loading & unloading), container grounding and re-stacking etc., mainly, mobile ramp systems, hydra, crane, fork-lifts etc. enables handling of Cargo of over size and heavy cargo
• centralized CCTV surveillance
• equipped with automated fight fighting equipment
• illuminated with high mast lighting systems for managing the night operations (if needed).
